Veterans Day is a time for all Americans to pause and reflect on the profound sacrifices made by the men and women of our armed forces. At CareBuilders at Home, we chose to honor the day by focusing on one of the most critical needs facing our senior veterans and clients:\u00a0connection.<\/b><\/div>\n
Last week, a dedicated team from CareBuilders at Home spent the day hand-delivering fruit baskets to our veteran clients. It was more than a gesture of appreciation; it was a focused effort to battle a pervasive issue that affects millions of older adults in the United States.<\/div>\n

The Silent Epidemic: Senior Loneliness and Isolation<\/b><\/div>\n
As people age, many face factors that increase the risk of social isolation and loneliness\u2014such as the loss of spouses and friends, mobility limitations, and chronic illness. This isn’t just a matter of feeling blue; it is a serious public health risk.<\/div>\n
