I had some more ideas, so here is a second part to that post. You could do sudoku puzzles, or reading, or journaling, What is important here is that you give your mind regular stimulation. It can be easy for older adults to feel aimless. This gives your mind a direction, and it&#8217;s even better if you make a routine of it a couple of times a week or even daily.<\/p>\n<h4>Practice Mindfulness<\/h4>\n<p>Mindfulness is such an obvious piece of advice that I left it out of the original post. What I want to talk about here though is that there are a lot of free resources on how to practice mindfulness. My favorite, which I have mentioned before, is the app Finch. This application is really good at walking you through different mindfulness tools and prompts.<\/p>\n<h4>Physical Exercise<\/h4>\n<p>Now you may be telling me that you can&#8217;t exercise like you used to be able to exercise. The thing here is that you don&#8217;t have to be deadlifting 300 pounds. This could mean walking around your house, or working with light resistance bands. You could join a silver sneakers class in your area if you&#8217;re able to do so.<\/p>\n<p>This is my final post on this for a while.
