July is UV Awareness Month<\/a>. We have previously discussed heat safety during the summer<\/a>, and today we are focusing specifically on UV protection for older adults.<\/p>\n

Wear UV-Protective Clothing<\/h4>\n

Lightweight, protective clothing is one of the simplest ways to reduce UV exposure. Long sleeves made of breathable fabrics, wide-brimmed hats, and UV-blocking sunglasses all add protection.<\/p>\n
