Last month, I made a post about inclusive family activities you can do for Halloween that work for the whole family. It was so fun that I decided to do one for Thanksgiving as well. Below are some inclusive activities that people of many different ages and ability levels can enjoy together.<\/p>\n

\"Thanksgiving <\/p>\n

The National Dog Show<\/h4>\n

This is my personal favorite part of Thanksgiving. The National Dog Show is a great, low-effort activity the whole family can enjoy\u2014and there are dogs, which never hurts. It airs on NBC and Peacock right after the Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade. You can learn more about it on the official National Dog Show page<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Thanksgiving Crafts<\/h4>\n

There are many Thanksgiving crafts that can be adapted for different ability levels. These can be as simple or as involved as you want them to be. I like using Pinterest<\/a> for inspiration, just like I mentioned in my Halloween post. Ideas range from hand turkeys to painting pinecones or creating table decorations everyone can help with. <\/p>\n

Gratitude Activities<\/h4>\n

Gratitude activities are especially fitting for Thanksgiving and can take many forms. I\u2019ve seen gratitude garlands, shared gratitude lists, and simple conversation prompts at the table. What makes these activities great is that they aren\u2019t limited by age or physical ability. If you\u2019d like more ideas focused on gratitude, let me know in the comments.<\/p>\n
