When I was in CPR class, they’d always tell us to perform chest compressions to “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees. So I had the thought recently to look into other songs that someone could do CPR to if they wanted. The idea is of course to keep the person performing CPR on beat. I found two great lists of songs from the Red Cross<\/a> and EMS1<\/a> that I did skim but I didn’t read their lists too closely because I wanted to come up with my own. According to the Red Cross, you need to stay between 100-120 beats per minute. The key here is to pick a song that you know well enough to keep you on beat.<\/p>\n
