Jeff’s path to home care
Before opening CareBuilders at Home, Jeff spent 17 years at Comcast as a Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. He led budgets, forecasts, and cross-functional decisions and built relationships with teams across the business. When it was time for a new chapter, he explored many franchise options. Home care stood out for two reasons. It made sense operationally with low overhead and a clear path to launch in Massachusetts. It also offered something Jeff was missing in corporate life. Direct impact on people in his own community.
A life woven into Merrimack Valley
Jeff has called the North Shore home for about 12 years. He lives in North Andover on family property that has been loved by multiple generations. He is active with the North Andover Athletic Association, where he helps run fundraisers, an annual road race, and scholarships for student athletes. Sports are a big part of family life. Jeff has coached baseball and softball, cheered from the sidelines, and stayed close to the local programs that shaped his kids.
At home, Jeff and his wife are raising three young adults. One daughter studies electrical engineering. Another is a biology major who plans to work in health care and is already signed up as Jeff’s first caregiver. Their son is a high school baseball player who is looking ahead to college. Jeff’s wife has a background in corporate tax and is currently focused on the complex work of guiding teenagers through those next steps in life.
Why this work matters
Jeff chose home care because it lets him give back in a practical way. His goal is to support three groups every day. The seniors who want to remain safe and independent at home.
