Veterans Services

Our Veterans served our country, and now it is our duty to serve them. CareBuilders at Home is an approved home care provider with the Veterans Administration and provides home care services to thousands of Veterans throughout the United States. CareBuilders assists veterans in navigating the process to request Home Health Aide (HHA) and Respite services. These programs are designed to help Veterans remain in their homes for as long as possible, with services tailored to their medical, personal, and caregiver needs. We take pride in promoting safety, compassion and care to the veteran community so they receive the care they need and deserve.

Community Health Choices – Medicaid Waiver

Some individuals may qualify for Community Health Choices (Medicaid Waiver) services. We guide applicants through every step to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Here’s how we help:

• Step-by-Step Guidance: We walk you through what’s needed to become approved for home care services.
• Initial Call: Our team helps make the first call to the PA Independent Enrollment Broker (PA IEB) with you on the line.
• Ongoing Follow-Up: We check in with the PA IEB weekly to monitor your application status.
• Clear Communication: We let you know exactly what documents or information the State requires.
• Personal Support: We understand the process can be overwhelming, and we’re patient, diligent, and here to help.
• Transfer to CareBuilders: If you are currently authorized through the Community Health Choices program and not happy with the services you are receiving, contact CareBuilders to discuss how we can provide the care you need and deserve.

Client Advocacy

We promote our clients’ well-being and safety by advocating on their behalf with MCOs, MAXIMUS, the Veterans Administration, family members, healthcare facilities, and others involved in their care. We routinely assist our clients in requesting additional hours when our clients care needs or medical condition has changed so that the insurance company or Veterans Administration can authorize more hours to meet their needs more appropriately. We closely monitor all policy updates to ensure we provide reliable, high-quality support that protects Clients from abuse, neglect, abandonment, and exploitation.
