Hi, I’m Sakara Sampson, owner of CareBuilders at Home of Contra Costa, CA.
With over 17 years in public service, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting vulnerable populations — including aging adults, individuals with disabilities, and those who have served our country. My work has always been rooted in advocacy, dignity, and meeting people where they are.
As a member of the sandwich generation — a mother, only child, and only grandchild — I understand firsthand the difficult decisions families face when caring for loved ones. Through my own journey, I’ve learned how important it is to advocate, plan, and accept the help you need for your loved one’s well-being and your own.
I started this business because I believe home care is an extension of service, not separate from it. My approach is advisory and solution-based — helping families find the right care, not pushing services.
