It is the spookiest time of the year! Happy Halloween! Here’s some tips to enjoy it safely.

Bring a Flashlight When Walking in the Dark
If you’re walking in the dark, please carry a flashlight or wear a headlamp. They’re a little dorky-looking, but they can be an important part of fall prevention on Halloween night.
Wear Sturdy Shoes
Whether you’re inside or outside, wearing very sturdy shoes is a good habit on Halloween. Due to any rain, it can be slick outside as well as dark. And if you have trick or treaters, you may be getting up and going to the door frequently, and you may trip in the rush.
Secure Your Animals
Halloween can be terrifying for pets, so if you have an outdoor cat, please bring them inside. And you may want to keep your dogs in their crate, in a room, or elsewhere away from a door so they won’t have the chance to dart out.
