New year, sparkling clean house! Here are some cleaning tips for you this year to make your houses nice, clean, and smelling great!

Fragrance Without Flames
You may want to switch to home fragrances that don’t require you to light a candle on fire. I love wax melts, personally. Other options are candle warmers and plug-in fragrances, as well as home sprays. Some people may worry about remembering lit candles, so this is a great option.
Don’t Mix Vinegar and Baking Soda
Vinegar and baking soda is a common household recipe for cleaning solution. A lot of storebought products also incorporate these ingredients. However, mixing them is actually suboptimal for cleaning. This article by Mary Jo Dilonardo explains that the vinegar and baking soda react together and reduce their efficacy.
Reusable Cleaning Cloths
One of my favorite eco-friendly swaps that I’ve done is using reusable cloths to clean. You can usually find them pretty cheaply, and you can also cut up old clothes for excess fabric. They’re so easy to clean because all you have to do is throw them in the laundry when you are done and wash them by themselves or with your other cloth items.
Which of these tips will you incorporate? Let us know down below.
