Since Influenza Vaccination Week was earlier this month, I thought it would be a good time to remind anyone who is interested to get their flu vaccinations. We do not provide medical advice here at CareBuilders, but we do encourage you to talk to your physician about getting your flu vaccinations. Influenza can be very serious for older adults, as seen in statistics published by A. Minhas for Statistica. The mortality rate for influenza in the United States is much higher for people over the age of 65 than for any other age group. Flu vaccines may be free at your doctor’s office or pharmacy, in case you want to look into those resources.

Family caregivers may also be interested in getting their flu vaccines to better protect their loved ones. Again, if you have any questions or allergy concerns, please address those with your physician.
This was just a short little post today, merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!
