It is less than week away from Thanksgiving, and the holidays are a busy time here in Louisville! Are you looking for family holiday activities this year? Then stay tuned! I have a few things to do around the city, at different price points.

Winter Woods Spectacular

From the people behind the well-loved Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, the Winter Woods Spectacular is a holiday exhibition of lights in Iroquois Park.  It is a walkable trail that is also wheelchair accessible. This wonderful display will be open nightly from 6 P.M. to 10 P.M. from November 25th to January 1st.  This is a ticketed event, tickets for children aged 2 and under are free, kids, aged 3 to 12 are $10, adults are $15, and senior tickets are $12. Tickets can be purchased online here.

The Louisville Orchestra’s Holiday Concerts

Do you know a holiday music superfan? Or maybe you are that superfan? I have the even for you! The Louisville Orchestra has two holiday concerts that they are performing on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. On Saturday, the 26th, there will be the Jingle Bell Concert at 11 A.M. and the Holiday Pops Concert will be at 7:30 P.M. Tickets can be purchased here, and the orchestra is always amazing.

Old Louisville Holiday Home Tour

Do you love Old Louisville? Are you an annual attendant of the St. James Art Fair? Have fun at the Old Louisville Holiday Home Tour, a self-guided walking tour of historic homes in Louisville decked out in their holiday best. This tour will be held on December 3rd and 4th, tickets can be bought here, and tickets are $30 for advanced tickets.

The Sauerbeck Family Drive-In

The drive-in theater is playing holiday movies in both November and December. Bring some blankets and settle in for a nice movie night! Tickets can be bought here.
